This place is such a scam. The "doctor" who runs the place basically tries to squeeze every dollar from you by asking you to join a restorative "program" that's honestly just probiotics and simple diet instructions for like $500. They are also super rude to those who don't opt into the program. Additionally I had an appointment I had to reschedule last minute due to a work meeting and they charged me $25 for citing that it wasn't within 24 hours. Like if an emergency comes up how would you know that ahead of time?!?! I would not go to this place and won't be returning

What a wonderful clinic Peter cured me of all my stomach illnesses. Olga also does a wonderful job. Highly recommend this clinic. They have lots of knowledge to help you.

I love old school, no fancy vibe. Prices are super reasonable. Easy street parking etc - This place has healing to do and they do it. Went in for a Colonic after a 7 day cleanse. Perfection. Ella massaged my abdomen perfectly as the colon therapy machine did it's thing. I will be back! Also - Male bodied beings - this is one of the only places in town that offers Prostate Massage. Absolutely worth looking into. Take care of your prostate before it's too late!

I have been going to Biotherapy for colonics for over a month and I have nothing but amazing things to say. They have helped transform my health in areas I've been trying to work on for years. They are so kind and welcoming and make the entire process easy and comfortable. My colonic therapist Victoria is absolutely amazing, she has single handedly transformed my health. They make scheduling very easy and they email, call, and text you contact you to remind you of upcoming appointments, which is very helpful.

I LOVE this place! I was pleased from the moment I walked in the door! Finding an affordable and quality holistic clinic in the Bay Area is not easy, and this place takes the cake! Irina and Dr Felix greeted me right away and I felt comfortable and at home. I had come in for a colonic, however Dr Felix told me about all the other wonderful services they provide, like acupuncture and their own line of supplements.

Very impressive! Victoria was my practitioner and she was lovely, kind and warm. She was great in explaining the procedure and helping me to feel comfortable. Oh! And the bidet was remarkable! Warm seats and all! I will certainly return and I highly recommend you experience the wonderful care of this fabulous clinic and staff!

Scheduling was easy, the care team are all very kind and friendly, and the service was exactly as needed. I will definitely return.

My partner worked with Peter and had a great and healing experience, so I thought I would come by for a visit as well since I was having pretty severe digestive and brain fog issues. I ended up doing initial consultations with both Peter and Felix. Between the two of them, they thought I definitely had candida and maybe a thyroid issue as well, and sold me $220 worth of supplements.

They did not take any lab tests - this was all done visually in under 15 minutes or so by looking at my tongue, checking my pulse, checking my stomach, etc. I proceeded to take the supplements and ended up having a negative side effect from taking one of them that I was not warned about. I was not satisfied with my experience and intuitively felt that I wasn't getting accurate treatment, so I ended up seeing a naturopathic doctor afterwards, who conducted extensive urine hormone tests, blood panels, and multiple digestive lab tests.

She was able to show me from scientific results that I did not in fact have candida or a thyroid issue - I actually had a parasite, an iron deficiency, a gluten allergy, and some hormonal stuff going on. Since taking the supplements she has prescribed to me for those specific issues, I have finally started feeling better. Peter and Felix seem to be kind and well-meaning people, but my experience receiving treatment from them was inaccurate and frustrating.

I like bio-therapy. The team is always kind and courteousin an authentic way. They accept insurance, and appointmentsare readily available. My acupunctureappointments with Felix are great! He ensures I'm comfortable and makes sure I'm getting my desired results.

I started seeing Dr. Peter in June 2020, because I was suffering from eczema, bad itching, candida and swollen lymph nodes. I found BIOTHERAPY clinic on google and was going for the colonics, but when I had my consultation with Dr. Peter I loved that he said he was going to help me heal from the inside out if I sticked to his program. I was happy he didn't prescribe cortisone like other doctors had in the past.

So I stuck with his program and did the acupuncture, colonics, nutritional changes, cupping and supplementation. Every time I felt better and better and after six months I was completely healed and feel so good. No more eczema, candida, itching and most importantly. my lymph nodes are normal. The staff at the clinic is amazing and very friendly. Liza who does the colonics is so nice and very patient and she made me feel very comfortable. I can't thank Dr. Peter enough for what he has done for me, for his knowledge, dedication and compromise. Thank you BIOTHERAPY clinic!

Today was my first time there and I did the colon hydrotherapy and it was a very good experience the staff is very friendly, very helpful and the procedure wasn't painful. It's very affordable and worth it.

The staff is very friendly and professional and the practitioners are experts in what they do. I honestly can't say good enough things about this place. I came here for the first time three years ago for a colon hydrotherapy session and remember being impressed with their experience in the field. When I came a couple of months ago (dealing with candida again, ) I was reminded how amazing they were. I've had other colonics where you're basically left in a room to your own experience.

At Biotherapy, there is a specialist who sits with you the entire time, massaging your abdomen with a technique to get the stuck fecal matter out of your colon. The times I've been there, I've had a super sweet woman who has a wonderful and calming presence and somehow can tell exactly where the gas bubbles and fecal matter are, when and how they will come out, and how to coax them out if they're feeling a little stubborn.

On top of all of this, I saw their doctor, Felix, this morning and he is SO knowledgeable. They have a free consultation with him if you so choose and while 'free consultations' at other places generally translate to 'sales sessions, ' he literally just gave me a download of extremely good knowledge on candida in 10 min that otherwise would have taken me dozens of hours of research on the internet to obtain and didn't try to sell me on any other service.

Other doctors I've been to have next to zero knowledge on things going on in the gut, and so it was extremely refreshing talking to Felix about this topic. If you have been struggling with any gut issues, or are just looking for a cleansing experience, DEFINITELY come to this place!

Once again BioTherapy came to my rescue. Western, traditional medicine had no clue what was going on so I went to Peter. I had to do the work but I'm so much better now. Thanks Peter and special thanks out to Rosa and Liza on the front lines of keeping me healthy. This place basically rocks.

Best colonics i have found in the bay area. I appreciate the tummy massage & tea during colonics. One can always ask for a more gentle or vigorous massage. Thank you ladies!

I've been coming here for 10years. The staff is amazing! So kind gentle and extremely through. Felix is amazing and goes over your healthy food choices and positive lifestyle changes for the bettering of your life. In the end you will have so much more energy and look and feel your best. I highly recommend Bio-therapy to everyone who wants to turn back the hands of time and be the best they can be. I did and I'm so happy.

Irina the receptionist is a very nice woman and Ella the Therapist is the best. I've been in 3 consecutive times now and love the results I've been feeling and seeing. I've been a constipated person all my life and now I'm really trying to reset my digestive system with lots of water, and fiber intake. I stopped taking so many supplements, as they can add to the constipation.

After reading about other colonic methods, I'm so glad I didn't go with the open method. That sounds totally gross and not very effective. Ella is very informative and will massage and knead the abdomen so movement will occur. One or two colonics may not be enough to totally get you cleaned out as in my case. But I look forward in paying a visit to these ladies again very soon.

The previous reviews are pretty hilarious. If you don't know what you're getting yourself into try looking it up on the Internet. Even better look it up on YouTube. I really like this holistic clinic everyone who works there is very knowledgeable. I've been here to get a colonic about two years ago and started going back recently. Such a big difference when you get it. I just feel better. And their prices aren't bad they always have coupons so look out for them don't be afraid to give them a email.

I tried various treatments here, including the prostate massage, which is something very few people offer. I believe the staff are sincere and the prices are very reasonable. The detox footbath is most likely not effective. The colonic is great if you can handle a rough massage.

Place & machine are dirty. I felt they only wanted to get me out of their way as soon as possible. Not a pleasant experience. Would not recommend this place at all.

AWFUL EXPERIENCE. The receptionist was kind but I didn't come here for the chit chat. Once taken into the back room for the Colonic procedure I received absolute no direction and was just told to put on an apron. It was my first time and I really wanted some info telling me what to expect but all the woman kept asking me was if i was nervous.

Then it started and I was not nervous until something went wrong; at first the woman said there was something wong with the machine (first freak out moment) and then the pressure went too high and became uncomfortable and then he tube used to inject the warm watery solution just had come dislodged and spit the solution all over! The woman wanted to try again and I said heck no, I put my clothes back on and quickly left. I tried this place because it was more affordable. My mistake.

You probably forgot how long i was a valuable customer of Biotherapy clinic, You probably didn't paid attention that i am customer since 2008, You probably forgot that i paid thousands of dollars. I feel very bad to write this review but i got hurt by their staff, probably the medical staff losing the "frame of intelligence", maybe this is way how the owners treating the staff and staff treating customers same way with level of disrespect.

I have to tell that level of this facility has been degraded with the years. i could forgive the level of pushiness for making us buy the supplements, i could forgive unsanitary level of facility, but the rudeness of the staff, disrespect and lack of responsibility toward patient. That is too much for me. They forgot what is the medical facility is made for.

I feel with years of service they degrade more and more and ending up with bad management and misleading business practice. They little bit forgot that their patients have rights which Biotherapy clinic don't see. They only see themselves and profit but not a actual purpose of medical industry. I would not recommend to no one to get a treatment from Biotherapy clinic.

Got my first free consult today and these folks know what they are doing. Mine is a truly difficult, fairly unique case. Born without many of the basic components of an immune system, I have had to suffer with a wide variety of debilitating ailments since birth, including chronic fatigue, asthma, allergies, gut disbiosis, chronic infections etc. etc.

All very resistent to improvement. Now doing metal detox and on a complex nutrition and neutrasceutical regimen that I devised based on my research, I was in search of a competent alternative practitioner to make certain I wasn't injuring myself. I was met by a caring, friendly and perfessional receptionist in a rather shabby clinic in the old Russian District of SF. they are Russian, charge very fair prices and I feel the lack of fancy digs really proves their commitment to providing the best service at a reasonable price. Things appear clean -which is good, as they give colonics.

The Guy I saw runs the clinic with I suppose his wife. They share the same name, but might in fact be siblings. He's upbeat and warm. Not, I will admit, what I was expecting from Russians! He's also very knowledgeable. I brought all my many supplements and he said I was doing everything right and not doing anything risky. He recommended colonics to assist in the Mercury detox and gave me a hair test to help establish my level of historical toxicity (various tests need to be performed for this, such as hair, urine, blood and sometimes stool.) I will be back soon! All consults are free, so if you have a tough health problem, bring it here and get some help with it.

Worst place ever! Had a bad experience here. It was my first time here so I was nervous about doing the colon hydrotherapy when I arrived the lady didn't make me feel comfortable at all. I was asking questions about the procedure and she couldn't even understand what I was saying all she kept saying was yes to everything. I was going to leave but I said maybe it will go well and it didn't it was the worst place to go to I couldn't relax and the lady was no help either no wonder it was so cheap! Wouldn't come back here I will try TMI colonics! I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

I was a non-believer but Peter and Rosa Melamed had changed my mind. They have been fantastic in understanding my concerns and developing a program that was really truly customized to my needs and issues. I'm still a big supporter of Western medicine, but I can truly appreciate how much more options there are out there. I will always come back to the Biotherapy Clinic and I am not going to wait until western medicine fails next time.
