I think I sweat out a kidney. No, really, that's what it felt like the first time I went to Bikram. BYSA has a one month intro package. Get in the torture chamber as much as you can for a month and see if it works for you. Ultimately, i LOVE Bikram, but my bank account doesn't. The services aren't extraordinarily expensive, but, the amount that I'd like to participate would preclude me from the ability to buy groceries.

The instructors here (two of them, I believe, for bikram) are very helpful, so make sure you let them know if you're a newbie. Also, there is NO shame in this room of sweaty yogis. If you have to sit out a posture, do it, cause going ass over tea kettle when you're in some weird inversion just isn't fun.
