In today's fast-paced society few of us are free from the effects of stress on our bodies and lives. The key to waging the war on stress is understanding how to be more resistant to the effects of stress. Aches and pains at any age are signs that something isn't right. It is convenient to treat the symptoms with a couple of aspirin or some other drug.
In simplest terms, a subluxation a.k.a. Vertebral Subluxation) is when one or more of the bones of your spine (vertebrae) move out of position and create pressure on, or irritate spinal nerves. Spinal nerves are the nerves that come out from between each of the bones in your spine. This pressure or irritation on the nerves then causes those nerves to malfunction and interfere with the signals traveling over those nerves. How does this affect you? Your nervous system controls and coordinates all the functions of your body.
This is a representation of one type of subluxation. A subluxation, as defined by the Association of Chiropractic Colleges is: "A subluxation is a complex of functional and/or structural and/or pathological articular changes that compromise neural integrity and may influence organ system function and general health."

Dr. Door is extremely personable and knowledgeable. In just a few short weeks, he's almost completely eliminated the back pain I had been suffering from for a number of years. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing a chiropractor.

I've been going to him for years with my mom. He is very funny and jokes around alot. The only thing I will say is when I was little I grabbed about two hand fulls of candy and he stole half of it. I will forever hold that grudge he's great and he's helped my back and my mom's.

This is my experience in working with this office from February 2016 to February 2017. I do not like to speak ill of anyone especially in their career but I now feel I need to warn people. Dr Door was very kind when I began seeing him after a car accident. He had told me all about what to expect after having an accident and assured me I would be cared for in his office.

Though that all changed after securing the appointments with him. I had voiced my concern that my neck, head and back were seeing improvements but my shoulder was not. He ignored my mentions of my shoulder (never even writing it in his records) and had told me to not seek physical therapy as it could interfere with his work. I listened and found out later from an MRI that I have multiple tears in my rotator cuff and a bone contusion from the accident. Dr.

Door went as far as accusing me of having an accident on my job instead of being injured from a car accident. He had stepped out of line with this since he didn't even know my job description/tasks. He even went to the extent of pulling on my arm to "adjust" my shoulder which was terribly painful and made me hold back a yell and tears. In the end it was borderline malpractice at Dr. Doors office.

As soon as my appointments had finished with him he refused to return any phone calls (and still to this day will not call me or my attorney back). Which seems to me he is only out for money and does not truly care for his patients. His wife however is the massage therapist at this location and is very caring and thorough in her services. I would not recommend going to Willows Chiropractic unless you are looking for massage therapy or would like a word with their gracious receptionist.
