Naturopathic Medicine is another title for what you may call Alternative or Complementary Medicine. It is a profession of health care which emphasizes prevention, treatment and the promotion of optimal health through the use of therapeutic methods and modalities such as dietary therapies, nutrition and herbal medicines which stimulate the body's inherent healing abilities.
Step one: He frequently orders a test that determines what drugs and natural medicines are best at inducing cell death of the anal cancer cells found in a person's blood. He works with a lab called RGCC in Greece. This lab isolates circulating anal cancer cells from the bloodstream and tests over fifty natural substances and over fifty drugs to determine which have the greatest ability to induce cancer cell death.
He was 8 years old at the time. We consulted with Dr. Belanger toward the end of treatment. We follow Dr. Belanger's strategies and have been very pleased with continued clear MRIs and are now over three years out from diagnosis. My son's outcome in terms of side effects has been excellent also. He continues to do well in school and athletics.
If I had relied on traditional western medicine, I wouldn't be writing this. I was diagnosed with cancer three and a half years ago, had surgery and chemo, but still have several cancerous lymph nodes. Then I heard about Dr. Belanger from my therapist, and started taking his recommended supplements.

My latest experience with Dr. Belanger has been very disappointing. Our family has used his naturopathic services for many years. I have found him to be insensitive and unethical. My daughter was a patient of his for many many years until she passed a year ago. To my disappointment, there was no acknowledgment of her passing when notified. My husband also was a patient of Dr. Belanger for many years and last saw him in 2018.
When I recently called to make an appt, for my husband, I was told he would have to be seen as a new patient (which meant he would be charged with a new patient's fee.)This is unethical since he wasn't a new patient by any means. It is my opinion, Dr. Belanger's policy of saying my husband should be seen as a new patient is a sign of greed. His lack of having his receptionist send out a sympathy card (cost and time would be minimal) shows a lack of sensitivity. (Even my new dentist who barely knew me did.) This does not speak well of Dr. Belanger!

I went to see Dr. Belanger in 2012 for terrible cystic acne. His advice was very sound - I was to cut out sugar, dairy, and eat more plant based, live foods. I was also to take a large amount of supplements daily. All was well however, my skin got really itchy, and then eventually a little raw, and then swollen. I pretty much developed eczema herpeticum (almost like shingles) on my face.
What we both did not realize at the time was that I was going thru Topical Steriod Withdrawal(TSW). I blamed him for my reaction, where I now believe it was my doing by not taking any prescription creams (my goal was to be natual, hence visiting with a naturopath). Today I am doing much better and am drug free. It was a long road and I wish I had seen Dr. Belanger after I understood TSW more. I do recommend him if you are looking for options outside of big pharma, but he's not totally perfect :)

Dr. Belanger is one of those rare physicians who is the perfect combination of knowledge, integrity, and compassion. How he keeps up with all of the evidenced-based science is beyond me! He has been treating our 8 year old son who has battled cancer 4 times (over the course of the last 4 years) and we know beyond a shadow of a doubt that our son is doing so well because of God's will and Dr. B's expertise and wisdom. We refer so many people to him. If you have a medical condition that has you concerned, don't hesitate to reach out to him. You won't be disappointed.
