Naturopathic Medicine has been around since the late 1800s. At that time "naturopathy" was used to describe an increasingly popular mode of therapeutics that drew from both western as well as indigenous medicines of the world. Today at White Oak Medical we use scientifically proven and evidence based alternative therapies such as acupuncture, herbal medicine, clinical nutrition and homeopathy to treat everyday health problems, as well as many acute and chronic conditions.
Dr. Victoria Shikhman is a founder and a Clinical Director of White Oak Center. She established the center in 2005 to provide the highest quality holistic care with a very individual approach to serving her patients' physical, emotional and spiritual health care needs. Dr. Shikhman is board certified Naturopathic Physician and a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP).

Dr. Shikhman has helped me when traditional medicine could do absolutely nothing for my pain and atypical symptoms. I am extremely grateful for her help. She has great listening skills and is very knowledgeable. Her formulas gave me back a quality of life that I had lost hope for. Wow is all I can say about Dr. Shikhman she save my life heal through tea and lifestyle changes Eating healthier lymph node massage therapy. Massage therapist is amazing! I had spent 8-10 months so sick from Lyme dis-ease. I had been diagnosed with Lyme disease approximately 5 years ago, symptoms would reoccur every 6 months or so. As my symptoms worsened my general practitioner continued to treat me with antibiotics, after several years I felt it was time to try something new. I did my research on line and found Dr. Shikhman, it has been 9 months and I feel better than I have for the past 15 years! My husband has also seen Dr. Shikhman although he does not have Lyme we wanted to get him checked out because of how well I feel.

If you are looking for a miracle doctor, do not go any further. Dr. Shikhman mixes her supern knowledge of homeopathic remedies and acupuncture to make impossible a reality. In few weeks she achieved what conventional doctors could not do in years. She took my pain and anxiety away!
