We just had a horrible experience in Panera Bread Deerfield. Upon entry the lady behind the counter told us that we need masks. We refuse to wear one. She called the manager who told us the same. We told them that this is unconstitutional and unlawful and they should stop asking for masks. Then the other lady told us that we put people in danger etc.
I ask them if they are going to serve us and they refused. What you are doing is Unconstitutional, you are intimidating, segregating and harassing your customers. We will never set a foot in your store again and will make sure everyone knows how you treat loyal customers.

I ordered dinner for my family this evening. And the gentleman who brought our order out was extremely rude and impatient. He gave my family and I the wrong sides and didn't put chicken on our salads. I mentioned it to him I then received a argumentative tone of voice which wasn't called for. I even had to point out that the salads clearly say add chicken. They were rushing thru orders and being very careless to say the least. I definitely won't be ordering from this location again!

Food is very good. Tastes fresh and good. Service is good too. Pick up order was ready in minutes. They always put all the needed spoons, forks, knives, napkins. Unfortunately not every panera place never forgets it. Overall experience is very positive. The forgot to put a soup last time and added a bonus "make it two" as an excuse to my account. Customer service asked sorry so nothing to say but good.

Where to start? We hadn't been in Panera since the pandemic started. Both of us ordered two salads and two bowls of soup. They were served in plastic containers. The portions were quite a bit smaller than in the past and the prices higher. We had to add the dressing to the salad. They wouldn't bring the food to the table. The restaurant was extremely cold and no music in the background, it felt like eating in a hospital where everything was disposable.
We don't understand why they can't serve food in regular plates with real silverware. We have been in other restaurants and they had them. We used to love Panera but regrettably, we will cross that restaurant off our list. I am giving two starts because we liked the food (it has not changed its quality) but we don't want to leave a restaurant feeling that we have been fooled.
