Great Doctor, Very Thorough She is kind, caring, and gives you the time you need, not a "one size fits all" approach --something I appreciate after years of being rushed through chiropractic offices as if on a money-dropping conveyor belt. No high pressure, never-ending program, she actually treats your specific issue and has a very calming "table-side" manner. I highly recommend Dr. Purvis.

I have pretty bad back/neck problems. Dr. Purvis has helped me a lot, and i actually had a visit earlier today. she is a great doctor and recommends exercises an meds that suit my every need. I've seen a lot of reviews on here saying she's unprofessional, and/or racist towards the white patients, but that is all untrue. she is doctor i can trust and rely on.

I have been seeing Dr. Purvis for a number of years. She doesn't waste time and will do anything to work with your schedule and meet your needs. She has amazing balance with these two qualities. My first rib was pinching a nerve in my arm and for 2-3 months of physical therapy, x-rays, and doctors I had little results. I finally came to Lillian and with one adjustment took the pain and tingles away.
I regained full range of motion to my arm for the first time in a season. I wish I had come to her sooner. As a frequent gym goer I require some work here and there. I trust her with my issues and I have seen how she treats everyone equally and with immediate attention to even the smallest concerns. She even adjusts my previous, now retired, chiropractor. It says a lot when doctors will trust one another for care.

I visited Dr. Purvis for neck tension and during the visit she told me that we needed to do a "routine" X-ray. I did not explain to her that I am a licensed and certified radiology technologist, CT scan tech with a B.S. in Diagnostic Imaging, 11 years experience in the field, and was uncomfortable with "routine" x-rays. There should always be a medical reason for a diagnostic x-ray.
Not only is it unnecessary radiation exposure, but also an unnecessary reason for insurance billing and claims. Against my own judgment, I agreed to move forward with the examination considering it was my first time to visit a chiropractor. Not only was she going to perform the x-ray herself (which should be done by a licensed tech), but she never asked if there was a chance I could be pregnant, never instructed me to remove my bra or anything metal, did not use collimation and was going to x-ray my entire spinal column when my neck was the cheif complaint (again - for another insurance claim), and she did not use a lead shield to protect my reproductive organs (pregnant or not, should always be done for a woman within childbearing age).
I stopped her before she proceeded with the x-ray and explained that I needed a shield and there area she was going to x-ray was too large. She told me I didn't need a shield and that is when I ended the entire visit. I'm contemplating reporting her considering her lack of knowledge and patient care. DO NOT make the same mistake I did by going to her, she over billed my insurance and constantly called me DIRECTLY to harass me for the remaining balance, and did nothing to help my neck. Definitely a huge waste of time and money. Disclaimer: I am using an alias for privacy concerns.

First of all let me just go back a reference the idiot that said she is racist towards white. That person is an absolute moron. I am white and have been going to Dr. Purvis for a few years now. Dr. Purvis is one of, if not THE, be chiropractors in town. She is professional but also personable. She does an amazing job. For any of you who use a chiropractor on a regular basis you know that you don't always get an instant fix. Matters of the spine take time. I would recommend Dr. Purvis to anyone in need of Chiropractic care.
