We are a yoga and healing studio with the intention of unlocking your potential of living a healthy, authentic and empowered life. Our approach is rooted in yoga's ancient wisdom and philosophy, addressing each individual as a whole made up of mind, body and soul. Our mission is to provide our students with the direct experience of living fully and mindfully through the practice of yoga and the support of community. Our hatha yoga classes are strongly alignment based so students learn how to move and hold their bodies for optimal strength, freedom and balance.
Our hatha yoga classes are strongly alignment based, with emphasis on mindful movement so that your practice is enhanced whether a beginner or experienced student. So many of us come to yoga to enhance freedom in some way, whether it's to be free from stress, pain and anxiety or simply to experience more freedom in our bodies.
The Sacred Garden Yoga "Karma Yoga" program is for practicing members of our studio who are passionate about yoga and want to be more involved in the kula (community). Our Karma Yoga desk positions require one shift per week (4 hours), with a minimum commitment of six months. In addition, we occasionally need help with other administrative or professional tasks, and are interested in what it is that you have to offer in exchange for free unlimited yoga classes.Be a "people person" and possess exceptional communication skills (in person, on the telephone and in email).
Have you wanted to try yoga but feel hesitant? Have you done yoga in the past and wish to renew your practice? These beginner basic classes are perfect for students who are brand new to yoga, those wishing to renew their practice after an extended absence, or those who have suffered physical injuries.

I hadn't been to a yoga class in over 3 years until I visited last week. My instructor was Julie and she was very helpful. She asked me if I had any injuries that she could help me with and provided me with tips for accommodating them. Everyone was very friendly. I hope to be able to become a regular here.

I've been looking for yoga studios near my home and considering Sacred Garden, but it's always closed every time I drive by. Today I was waiting for my son to get off the bus and I saw the owner or an employee block in a woman with kids parked in her lot. I completely understand that there is limited space at this business, but again her business was closed and no one was there. Apparently, the owner or some employee really needs to practice what they preach. I definitely will not be booking any classes here.

I cannot express my love for this sacred space enough. Teaching our Awaken Your Most Magickal Self series at this location has enhanced the teachings and created powerful sisterhood within each circle of Women who have stepped forward on their path. Sacred Garden Yoga sits upon the crossroads where Cindy and I birthed 4 Alchemy Mystery School. As our own special blend of magick has grown and expanded, so has our offerings within this unique space. Initiation, Calibration, and Integration are all being offered live at Sacred Garden Yoga. It's so exciting to be rooted here at Sacred Garden Yoga, surrounded by the same magick that manifested these live programs and 4 Alchemy Mystery School into reality.

This place is simply amazing. Every time I enter the studio it gives you a feeling of peace and calm. I have tried a number of studios in the area over the years and this is the only one I always came back to. I also love that when you get instructions all yoga teachers tell you how each pose benefits your body. It is a joy of practicing with such knowledgeable teachers. I highly-highly recommend this studio. Thank you, Cindy, for having it.

I love this yoga studio! It's definitely a really great place for beginners and I'm so glad I found it because I never would have discovered a love for yoga without SGY. I had tried yoga elsewhere a couple times and did not enjoy it, and actually had almost decided that it just wasn't for me, UNTIL I tried this one. The classes are small and intimate and the instructors are all really awesome!
This is not an intimidating place for novices or for people with any kind of challenges. There are students of all sizes, shapes, levels and ages plus everyone is welcoming and friendly to newcomers. They do a great job of teaching modifications to poses and the use of props like blocks, belts and cushions etc anytime a pose or movement is too challenging or just to make it more comfortable for you.
I really love the gentle yoga, restorative yoga, slow vinyasa flow, and iyengar classes, but Yin Yoga with Lisa is my absolute favorite. Also, Cindy's beginner class is awesome! I'm raving on and on about the beginner level classes b/c that's what I have experienced but I have no doubt that the level 2 & 3 classes here are great for those wanting more challenge.

I love this studio. I have tried a number of them over the years in the Marietta/ Smyrna area and this one I have been coming back to for a years. I think studio owner, Cindy, is absolutely wonderful and knowledgeable about yoga and how to get you feel better and balanced after each session. I also like that during the class you get explanations for what each pose does for you. Also, the studio has a number of other wonderful teachers that have styles similar to Cindy. I tried some other places along the way and this is the one I am staying with!

I have taken a number of fitness classes, yoga included, and always get bored. After a few sessions you know the instructor's routine. NOT HERE. Cindy is an experienced Yoga practitioner and instructor. She teaches to the individuals in each class. No day is the same. The classes are fun and challenging. Not only that, you feel like you've had a workout, and didn't have to break a sweat. Try her Thursday Morning class at 10 am. $15 for a 90 minute class. Parking is at a premium, so if you bring a friend, try to carpool.
