Therapeutic massage combines a variety of techniques that enhance the body's natural restorative functioning, release tension, relax muscles, increase blood and lymph circulation, and impart a sense of calm. Therapeutic massage is also used to alleviate pain and stress, aid soft tissue healing, and provide balancing aspects of body, mind, and spirit. Acupuncture has its origins dating back thousands of years. Acupuncture balances the energy flow (Qi) throughout the body which is essential for health. During the past decade, the medical community has begun to embrace alternative treatments as many studies have shown acupuncture to be effective in treating pain, allergies, palliative care with cancer patients for nausea and weakness, and many types of chronic illnesses.
We carry many herbal formulas from reputable companies such as Evergreen Herbs, Golden Flower Chinese Herbs, Apex Energetics, and Standard Process (to name a few). Most western herbs and vitamins are readily available from local health food stores. Because of this, we only carry a small inventory of these substances with products specifically designed for easy absorption. Because one cannot separate body, mind and spirit, emotional issues often prevent a person from reaching their optimal physical state.
An allergy is an abnormal, adverse physical reaction of the body to certain substances known as allergens or antigens, which may not affect other individuals. The body's immune system mistakenly identifies these substances as dangerous invaders and activates antibodies to defend itself. In Chinese medicine, this reaction disrupts the energy flow to the meridians.

I was diagnosed with a frozen shoulder from an orthopedist and told it could take 18months to 3 years to heal. I had never tried acupuncture before but I was willing to try. Cody did magic. I have been to three appointments so far and the healing has been amazing. I highly recommend Cody for any treatments you may need

10 I just went today and bad my first Acupuncture treatment ever. I also did cupping. The office itself is a very warm, inviting environment. The office is also very clean. I saw Cody, he's a very knowledgeable Acupuncturist. I love that he took the time to get an understanding of my issues and talked me thru step by step of what we were doing. I've told all of my friends to go! Thank you CFHA, and coming back!

Kim can eliminate your allergies in a few sessions. I don't know how she does it. It's through acupuncture and it makes no sense to me why it works but it does work. There are limitations to what this type of medicine can do but I find Kim cares about her clients and to be a skillful practitioner. As a Christian I was hesitant to use this type of medicine and it can be a little "weird" feeling but as I understand it this works on the concepts of energy like the electricity in our bodies. I recommend Kim and believe she can help heal your issues, which is truly the work of God.

Love everyone at The Center For the Healing Arts! I have been seeing Kim for acupuncture for a couple of years. She is so caring and attentive. AND we laugh a lot! I recently did a series of treatments in the life vessel. Loved it. It helped me to release some emotional baggage I was carrying around. I didn't want to anymore, but also didn't quite know how to lay it down either. As well as, I haven't had anxiety since! Which probably had something to do with the emotional baggage! I am a believer!

I highly recommend Center for the Healing Arts. Kim is an amazing healer, herbalist and acupuncturist. I had never experienced acupuncture before, and she made it easy and painless. I respect and appreciate her holistic approach and consider her my "go-to" gal for holistic healing. I am grateful to have her skills in Fort Worth!
