Dr. Christopher J. Maffit was born in Portland, Oregon and has lived most of his life in St. Louis County. He began studying towards a Bachelor of Sciences/Pre-Med degree at St. Louis Community College at Meramec and then at the University of Missouri in Columbia. In 2001, he received a B.S. in Human Biology and a Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, Missouri. Immediately upon graduation, Dr. Maffit, along with two classmates, launched Delta Spinal Care in Clayton, Missouri.

I don't have much experience with chiropractors outside of this one, but I know that Dr. Maffit puts in the extra time to make sure I understand the purpose behind his practice. While he's working with patients, he will keep them engaged with conversation and is friendly and willing to help with problems beyond just the spine. Office is well cleaned, the tables are sanitized between patients, and the location is right off of a major road. Conclusion: If you're looking for a chiropractor in the St. Louis, Dr. Maffit is your guy.

We have been going to Dr. Chris Maffit since he opened his practice in 2001. He is incredibly knowledgeable and has a passion for helping his patients become healthier. and to stay healthy. He truly cares for each patient and their individual needs. He has helped me with back, shoulder, neck and hip pain over the last 20 years. His upper cervical care is gentle and extremely effective. He has certainly helped me maintain an active lifestyle!

I was referred to DSC by my partner who received care here several years ago. I started coming to DSC mid/late 2019, and have never been happier about the care I have received thus far. Dr. Maffit is so wonderful! He is personable, answers all of my questions thoroughly and comprehensively, is super transparent, and really takes his time in getting to know his patients.
He is a wonderful human being! I frequented a Gonstead chiropractor's treatment for about 3 years, but I think that I have found more relief and happiness with my body in the last several months under the meticulous care of Dr. Maffit. Dr. Chris is so knowledgeable! He is good with advice on how to eat healthier and can recommend beneficial supplements! i was having headaches and a stiff neck a few months back and had gone to my primary care, they didn't have a clue. Dr Chris was able to get me up and going again without the headaches and neck stifness. i can tell when things are getiing out of alignment and time to go back for a visit or 2!

I suffered with back issues for nearly 30 years. I visited dozens of chiropractors during that time. They could all ease the pain short term but no one was able to determine the root cause of the issue. That changed when I visited Dr. Maffit. After a few visits, the issue was solved. Now I go 3-4 times a year for a tune-up and remain pain free.

I like Dr Chris because he thoroughly explains the procedure and process to get your body aligned back in order correctly, not only medically but nutritionally. He actually spends much needed time with clients to make sure that the outcome is positive and permanently changing in your body. He helped me overcome past traumatic fears of damage done. to my neck and has aligned my neck according to NUUCA procedure. Dr. Chris is very caring, and I would recommend him the best of the best. I have been seeing Dr Maffit for almost 3 years now, he has followed me through both pregnancies and has been a life saver when it comes to my back pains. I like the gentle approach to Chiropractic that he practices. Also, I want to say that he has the best massage therapist I have used ever! Tracy has golden hands and I would recommend her to anyone who needs a massage therapist that actually helps with tensions and pain!

I went to a different chiropractor for years and never got better. I would have relief for anywhere from less than a day to maybe a week, but the pain always returned. I finally realized that the doctor was treating my symptom instead of the problem. My personal trainer recommended Dr. Maffit, and it has been LIFE CHANGING! I have been with Dr. Maffit over 5 years.
Since my initial course of treatment, I have been seeing him once per month for maintenance and I remain PAIN FREE! Unfortunately I recently moved to Colorado and have to find a new chiropractor. Hopefully I can find one 1/2 as good as Dr. Maffit.

I have been going to Dr. Maffit for over 2 years now - I'm an RN and chiropractic care helps to prevent and treat back/head/neck pain for me. I love that there is no cracking involved. NUCCA is incredibly gentle, yet very powerful. Not only is Dr. Maffit a fantastic NUCCA doctor, he has also helped with other health issues including an injured wrist, and medical conditions such as acid reflux.

Such a professional and pleasant office. They have been so helpful in repairing my back and neck from a car accident I was in.
