Our metro Milwaukee acupuncture clinic is located on Milwaukee's east side, 5 minutes north of downtown in the East Side Office Plaza, 1845 N Farwell Ave. The clinic is found on the second floor, in suite 207, which is down the hallway on the right as you exit the elevator. We utilize three treatment rooms to provide very short wait times for our patients.
This truly is the most frequent question we are asked, and the answer is Acupuncture is relatively pain free. Acupuncturists today use thin, filiform needles that are presterilized, which lend themselves to a very comfortable experience. The most common sensation patients report feeling once the needles are inserted is a mild pressure, or gentle pulsating sensation.

My first experience here was fine but the second time the needles hurt a bit more! I will not come back! Update: I received a voicemail from this business stating, that I should drink more water! I drink lots of water! I believe it is very unprofessional to call your client mentioning that you don't like the review they gave you! My mind is made is made up and I see your professionalism for what it is! I do not recommend this buisness!

I have been seeing Doris for over twelve years. She is wonderful and I could not recommend her more highly. She is knowledgeable, professional, kind, flexible and very easy to talk to. I initially started seeing her for help in managing migraines but over the years she has helped me with many other things - pregnancy-related issues, back issues, and most recently with my shoulder. I've been seeing Doris well over a decade. I credit her with making cancer surgery, treatment and post cancer long term issues more tolerable. Herbs and acupuncture improve the quality of my life immeasurably as I age. She compassionately listens and helps problem solve my health issues. Doris has literally changed my life! After almost 3 years of tests, I found a rheumatologist who was able to diagnose my connective tissue disease. Prior to that, I had to take pain pills to leave my house, to turn on my car, to open a door, the list goes on. After a month or so of treatment with Doris, I was able to finally leave my house without taking pain pills and was able to start leading a more normal life.

I wasn't too sure about acupuncture, but I was curious. I went to North Cape, and found the experience to be A-1. Subsequently, as I've learned more about acupuncture, and met more practitioners, I have to say: North Cape is thee best I've found, and quite certainly to my mind, thee best in Milwaukee. I recommend this institution without hesitation. And I don't mean that theoretically -- I've recommended them to people from both coasts and from Chicago who moved to Milwaukee in the last 2 years.

Great experience! I was a little skeptical about accupuncture but a lot of pain and desperation led me to give it a try. I'm so glad I did! Jamey really worked some magic on me! After just one treatment I am feeling remarkably better. You should have seen the look on my familys' faces when I walked out of the same clinic I had hobbled into an hour prior. Yes, it really was THAT good! I would recommend North Cape Acupuncture to absolutely anyone.
