Going to Minnesota Natural Medicine turned my life around as the giant puzzle of my multiple health problems was solved, including the diagnosis of Lyme disease which I had about 30 years at the time of my 2013 diagnosis. No other Doctor I've ever worked with came as close to as good and personable as Dr Chris Foley. Without the diagnosis of Lyme in 2013 I would be dead now.

They charged $1500 (for 2 people) to do a simple blood draw to send into a 3rd party lab. The only other thing we did was fill out a health history form. They then hit our credit card for an unauthorized charge of $150.00 3 weeks later. We have called them now three times since August to discuss the charge. As of 11/5/21, no one from their office has call me back.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Wanting a natural medicine for my thyroid condition I contacted MN Natural Medicine to see if they would be able to write a prescription for the medication. Since they indicated they could I scheduled an appointment with Lu (the RN) since she has a cheaper hourly rate than Dr Foley. I knew the office visit would not be covered by insurance as they are out of network but was told my labs would be. Lu had only been with the practice since January.
I was initially sent forms to complete before the appointment. When completing the medical history form for some reason I was not able to scroll down the page on my computer to complete the lengthy form. I spoke to Kelli who told me not to worry about it, that I could complete it when I got to the appt so I went early. Kelli was busy with another patient at the front desk so I never got to complete the form.
This meant that Lu was going to have to write down my history and the appt would be longer. Lu was very disorganized. Prior to the start of my Appt she was writing on a yellow legal pad that already had several pages folded over the binding of the pad. She started asking me questions and would flip between pages as she was writing down my responses.
When she asked me what my husband did for a living she was like "ohhh, they make a lot of money don't they". When she asked me about my diet I told her I had fallen off the wagon but was looking to get back to eating healthier and told her what my diet consisted of on a normal basis; I eat a higher meat diet. She told me she doesn't condone anyone for what they eat but then started pushing a vegan plant based diet. Lu ordered several blood tests & Kelli took samples to send into the labs.
As I was getting the labs drawn, Dr. Foley walked into the room to let Kelli know there were people waiting. He never acknowledged me. He seemed kinda perturbed that he had rich clients up front who had to wait because I was being helped. Not like he couldn't just take his next patient into the room-Its 10 steps from the reception area. I paid for the Appt and labs; was given a packet letting me know what needed to be submitted to the insurance company. Lu was to be sending me videos, other information and my visit notes. Scheduled a followup visit.
Never received the info Lu was to send to me. I had to repeatedly ask for it. During my follow up it was suggested that I work with a compounding pharmacy for my thyroid med. She told me because of the pandemic the pharmacy was not allowing walk-ins but would mail it free; I got charged $5 for this free service. She again went pushy on her vegan plant based diet.
I was chewing gum because I forgot to brush my teeth before leaving the house and wanted to get the fuzz of my teeth and freshen my breath. she got on my case about me chewing gum and proceeded to tell me which brand she preferred (its not the one they sell at the front desk). I told her before her whole spiel that I don't normally chew gum. It was an old stick I found in my car and just popped it in my mouth.
I left the appt & again had to repeatedly contact her about getting the info from her that they told me I needed to submit to my insurance company to get the labs reimbursed. The initial packet that Kelli gave me had a letter that was to be submitted to the insurance company with other paperwork. This letter had a previous RN name on it that no longer worked there.
I kept asking for an updated letter. I was very detailed in my requests. She couldn't comprehend & kept sending me the wrong stuff. I was shocked at her visit notes; she indicated that I have chronic constipation (told her I do poo everyday but sometimes not right when I get out of bed - maybe up to 2 hours after waking), am depressed (I said I had a little of the Covid blues as Im missing my friends-texting is not the same as in person contact)& all the previous medical history I HAD in the past she listed as me CURRENTLY suffering from. AND I CANT GET REIMBURSED FROM MY INSURANCE COMPANY FOR THE LABS!
