Your first appointment includes a consultation to determine a Chinese medical diagnosis and the appropriate treatment plan. A combination of cupping, moxibustion and/or electric stimulation could be included with your acupuncture treatment. This visit will take approximately one hour. Price does not include the cost of herbs.
Acupuncture can assist infertility in any stage you are at. Whether you are trying naturally, using Clomid, injectable medications, IUI, IVF, working with a donor program, or doing a frozen embryo transfer-we have the experience to work with you. We are proud and happy to share in changing lives of many couples and families!
Acupuncture is an over 5000-year-old medical practice where fine needles are inserted beneath the skin at specific points along the body's energy pathways, called meridians. The complex network of meridians deliver energy, also called Qi, to every part of the body. Pain or illness results when the flow of Qi is interrupted or blocked and acupuncture's purpose is to stimulate, disperse, and balance the flow of Qi throughout the body within the meridians. At POINT clinic, your initial treatment will be approximately one hour and subsequent visits will be approximately 40 minutes.

Hongi is very friendly and her clinic is clean, bright, and inviting. She not only wants to help you in your health journey, but get to know you as a person. She is always kind when I come in to see her. Hongji is also extremely knowledgeable about fertility issues, and not just from an Asian medicine perspective. I trust her completely. I go there on my lunch breaks and it's like a mini-retreat from the hustle and bustle of life!

I came into this practice completely unprepared because my last experience was at Health Partners. Health Partners is a very sterile impersonal session. Within five minutes of speaking with the acupuncturist, showing her my tongue and letting her feel my wrist. she concluded that I had Stagnant Qi. Upon discussing the meaning of that. I conclude that she was accurate.
I had been a little "blah" in my mood lately due to relationship changes and work stress. I had been more achy and my body more inflamed than it had been. I have a list of autoimmune issues so sometimes when I can't get the assistance I need from Western Doctors. I switch it up to Eastern Medicine. However don't mix the meds and herbs. It can be a huge mistake.
Do your research and know what is good for you. I received acupuncture and some cupping. I am sensitive to tiger balm so I will ask that she go light on it next time. However I did feel more at peace upon leaving the office. She stated I was at 20% since my treatment. I will be returning every Saturday until my energy is renewed.

Since I am not the one to get stuck with needles, I am not so sure I should review, but since I am in the lobby, which is East meets West Elm in its decor while my wife gets the treatment, I will oblige. It would be more relaxing in here were it not for the busy Cretin traffic right outside, (at St. Clair) hissing by, but really, the office is big, the lobby like a living room with a chaise and a bench and an ottoman filled with magazines I would like to read (dwell, wallpapers) and various interesting games/books.
I am intrigued by the handwriting deck of cards (you can be a handwriting expert in 24 hours!) and the deck of palmistry cards, which I am hoping will reveal why I have two lifelines and if that crazy woman was right in Alabama when she said to my then 18 year old self "You have a lot of changes ahead". yeah, no shit. But more about Point. They are legit.
They do have tea and jewlery and stones for sale in the lobby/living room which i find neither good nor bad. The bathroom is in the basement. Oh wait, there goes a human pin cushion! Oh no, that is my wife. Just kidding.
