Acupuncture is a safe and natural method for treating illnesses and injuries, or to increase one's physical and emotional well being. Very fine needles are used to generate energy movement at specific points on the body during a treatment. It is not uncommon to feel a tingling or warm sensation throughout the body, leading to a deep state of relaxation and meditative state of mind.
Most people are surprised to find out that acupuncture is not painful. Acupuncture needles are very fine and are inserted gently into the skin with the use of a guide tube. Once the needles are inserted it is common to feel deeply relaxed. Acupuncture feels really good! Acupuncture is a safe and non-toxic method for treating many illnesses and injuries, or to increase one's physical and emotional well being. Blue Lotus Center for Health is located on Third Ave. between Thorn and Upas Street in the Banker's Hill area of San Diego. Exit Washington take University Ave exit, turn right on First Ave, turn left on Upas St. and Right on Third Ave, we are located in the green building on the left side of the street.

My wife had a lot of back pain during her pregnancy and also works a high stress career. I bought her a couple of sessions with Louella and she loved it. She found both pain and stress relief after just one session. My wife found out her health insurance covers Accupuncture and now sees Louella on a regular basis. Highly recommended!

I've been seeing Louella on and off for years. She has worked her magic to help me with sleep issues. I love that she blends Chinese Medicine with functional medicine -- balances me out the acupuncture and orders labs to help me understand more deeply what is going on. I always sleep so much better after treatments!
