I agree 100% with Suzanne, I started coming here in the beginning of August with mom and grandmother for chiropractic care. From the beginning of our care (my mother and I) she said our insurance should be covering 80% since it does not cover the orthotics. In result of that, our insurance (my mother and I) sent the forms required so they could start paying her but she kept insisting on us to call the insurance since she have not received payment when we just received and sent in the forms.

From there we noticed she was way too insistent on receiving payment. That is very unprofessional to keep approaching your patients in a rude manner about payments, NEVER in my life have I seen my family have problems with our insurance. We spoke with our insurance and they told us that she is suppose to have called them to notify her what the insurance covers.

Now she claims we owe her a lot of money for what she couldn't do as a professional in terms of working with insurance companies. She also took a payment from my mother's credit card without any authorization. So now what we "owed" her was only around $300 which somehow increased to around $700 or $800 saying our insurance was not covering things. Totally ridiculous and unprofessional, avoid this place at all costs. I wish I could have seen all these reviews before visiting this unprofessional place.

DO NOT GO HERE! I would give a negative 5 stars if I could. Let me start by saying if they request your credit card info for any reason DO NOT GIVE IT TO THEM. My 23 daughter began seeing this Dr. in January 2016. Our insurance carrier was denying coverage because the office had not submitted the requested information to them, despite the 4 letters and numerous other requests they sent her.

So she just would continue charging my daughters debit card and calling her AFTER and leaving a message. My husband called her and spoke with the Dr. directly and told her she was NO longer to charge anything to our daughters card as we had 100% coverage. I walked into the office and wanted to know why they had not submitted the requested information from BCBS so the claims would be paid-the Dr herself was beyond rude and condescending.

She told me verbatim "so and so took care of it" and "not my problem or responsibility-your insurance is not paying" I asked her to call them to confirm our 100% coverage and she said "not my responsibility"! Unreal. THEY AREN'T PAYING BECAUSE HER OFFICE DIDN'T SUBMIT A SIMPLE FORM THAT BCBS REQUESTED A MINIMUM OF 10X. She then took money out of our daughters account the very next day.

So I took care of submitting the required documention (which turned out to be some 1 line form) and of course the insurance paid her '100% and she owed my daughter over $1200. She was electronically paid on 2/23/16 by BCBS and she DENIED being paid until I threatened to sue her! She personally left a message on my phone stating that she had NOT been paid by the insurance and IF they paid her we would be reimbursed.

At the moment she left that message, she had already been paid over $1100 by BCBS and DENIED IT! DO NOT GO HERE! There are plenty of mediocre chiropractors to go to-at least you can find one who isn't dishonest and rude. I have NEVER in my life dealt with a more rude or condescending person and to think its HER office! We have been told to file a complaint with BCBS Provider relations and the Dept of Professional Regulations. To take advantage of a 23 year old kid is appalling.

I have had chronic migraines for 23+ years. Medication was not helping - in fact, they were getting worse. I also had severe neck pain. Thankfully, someone gave me Dr. Seaman's number. I began treatment a few months ago. After suffering for so many years with 4+ headaches a week, I now only have one or two a month! The combination of chiropractic care with massage therapy has been a lifesaver to me. Speaking of massages - Moxie is the best! The doctor and staff have been wonderful. Thank you Seaman Chiropractic Center for giving me my life back.

If I could put negative star I would. I went in for an back adjustment because my insurance covered it 100% no back or neck issues. Similar to the other review, Dr. S told me I had one leg shorter than the other, had a terrible x ray results and showed I has scoliosis. she told me I would need to come weekly for treatments. I consulted my MD and was told I had no back problems. I would never go back!

I have been a patient of Dr. Seaman's for a few months now. She is a "no-nonsense, get to the heart of the matter" kind of practitioner. No sugar-coating. She tells you what she thinks you need and she gives you a fair assessment of how long it will take to get some results. I appreciate honesty, not false hopes. After one adjustment I was sore, but I felt some relief.

She gave me some exercises to do as well as a weekly adjustment plan. She did what she said she would do, and she explained everything to me. As a consumer, that is the most important thing to me. And results. In addition to massage and adjustments, Dr. Seaman has a rehab center where she shows you how to build muscles to prevent future ailments. You can't expect to come in one time and be "cured".

After some time and as I continue to improve, we will step treatments down to be less often. I have seen several Chiropractors over the years, and I have had good experiences and not so good ones. Dr. Seaman is realistic, gentle and honest. I am very happy with my progress. I am willing to put in the work to feel better and get better. So far, so good!

Do not waste your time. Seaman is extremely rude, arrogant, and not even a real chiropractor! She does an adjustment for exactly 45 seconds (yes, I counted) and charges $58 for it! I regret EVER going here. I wish I had seen these review before :(

This lady is a top notch con artist. Like Robert said, she asked me to bring my wife. Right away I knew something was not right. I went in after a car accident. She took x-rays and sat down and talked about a treatment plans because I told her I was not bringing in my wife. Seaman tells me I have scoliosis? And it would take years to treat. I walked out.

She was so bad I called this insurance company and told them not to pay her for the unnecessary x-rays! STAY AWAY FROM HER, SHE IS A HEARTLESS SCAMMER! I can't believe her doors are still open.

I recently went to Dr. Seaman with fairly bad lower back pain due to a training injury. Dr. Seaman performed an initial "consultation" combined with multiple x-rays of my back. During this "consultation" I was given pamphlets to read and then asked "what did I get out of this pamphlet?" After the second round of pamphlet questions I was quickly starting to realize that this may not be the place for me. Dr. Seaman proceeded to ask me multiple questions regarding what I want to get out of the treatment and what problems am I having.

Let me go ahead and clarify that I walked in there with problems bending over, standing for any period of time and having trouble sleeping because of my injury (I'm in my early thirties and work out regularly, play sports and have a very active lifestyle). So, what I thought would be needless to say, is that I want to not be in serious pain after treatment!

I walked in there with an injury and she is approaching this as a life coaching lesson! After discussing my previous bouts with back pain, that were each attributable to a specific event, i.e. mountain biking accident, years of wrestling and outdoor sports, she explained to me that these incidents had nothing to do with my back pain, that it's because I have an underlying back problem that will require a treatment plan (translation: $$$$$$$$$$ for her).

I attempted to discuss this concept with her, offering a situation where someone has no prior back pain, is in a serious auto accident and comes to her - is their back pain attributable to the auto accident? Her response. NO, the person probably had a problem before! Once this conversation headed down this path, Dr. Seaman asked if I could "tough it out a couple more days?" because she didn't want to work on me without having a plan. Now, I've been to multiple chiropractors before and have NEVER had one tell me to tough it out a couple days when I'm in pain.

And these previous doctors have performed wonders by simply feeling along my back and doing adjustments! I finally had to essentially beg for an adjustment because I didn't want to completely waste an hour and a half of my time and walk out in exactly the same shape as before. She was rude, discourteous and gave me a complete b.s., 5 second adjustment, afterward stating "well, it's straight now. Get your stuff." I agree with the previous post, there are some great chiropractors out there. If someone ignores your pain and wants to discuss a pamphlet. RUN!

Ok, I haven't seen Dr. Seaman, but I have seen her Massage Therapist Juliet, and she is AMAZING. I, too, am a massage therapist, so I kinda know what I'm looking for. I have sciatica, and that can get absolutely unbearable, but Juliet worked me out, and stretched me into a new person, it feels like! Make an appointment with Juliet for a massage, she is the REAL DEAL! Knowledgeable, educated, and awesome.

I agree w Robert R totally. In fact. When I read your review to my husband, he thought I had written it because I had described a similar experience. She also encouraged to bring my husband, which I find strange in this day and age of HIPPA privacy laws. She was very condescending to me. Because I am a nurse, I was highly offended. But the last straw was when she put 1 hand on the crest of my R hip and her other hand slightly below the crest of my L hip in an attempt to convince me 1 leg was shorter than the other, a classic chiropractic scam.

She later sent me a bizarre follow-up letter meant to intimidate me back in, She gives chiropractors a bad name. See Sauganash Wellness Center if you wish to be treated with respect.

Years ago, I went to Dr. Seaman because I had stiff neck and shoulder pain probably due to stress. Dr Seaman performed an initial consultation where she also took X-rays of my neck. Dr. Seaman asked me to bring my fiance with me on the next visit, which I found very strange. During that next visit, she basically told my fiance that I would die if I didn't get treated, as she showed my fiance the X-ray of my crooked neck, which was actually an X-ray that was purposely taken from the X-ray machine in a crooked position. Dr. Seaman also stated that she did not accept my insurance card and had a convenient way for me to finance her services via a high interest credit card. Needless to say, I walked out of that office with a smirk, while my fiance cried on the way towards the car.

I explained that Dr. Seaman was trying to scam us. Afterwards, I became infuriated and felt that my intelligence was insulted and now with Yelp, I can now warn others of the immoral tactics that Dr. Seaman uses to intimidate patients into buying the fear factor she imposes and also pressuring them into an uneccesary financial obligation in the process.

I would place 4 negative stars on Dr. Seaman if there were an option to do so. There are so many other good chiropractors out there. Do not waste your time and money there. I can't believe someone would actually operate their business in such an unethical manner.
